Pemberton Skate Park

Evolution Bike Shop just selected me to be one of the local artists who decorate 2 skateboard decks to be auctioned off at the end of this month for the Pemberton Skate Park.  It's nice to have some freedom as to what I could draw, and here's what I came up with!

"one life" board; as you can see by the top image, the first time around the deck's colours were slightly different.  My dad tried to clear coat it, which went terribly and left a white film all over the board, so I had to re-paint it! I do like the red better though, so maybe it was meant to happen.  Since one board was very bright and fun, I decided I'd go with something more serious and contrasted for my second go around.  I like how she turned out.

I delivered the decks to the shop today, and people were stoked with them! I'm sad I can't make it to the show, but hopefully there will be some photos of the event.

I am also planning on stripping down and painting a Landyachtz longboard.  Progress on that will be posted as well as pricing.
